Carrd launched in 2015 as a one-page site builder. It's beautifully minimal: drag, drop, ship. Pricing is famously cheap - $9/year gets you a custom-domain site with most features. Pro is $19/year. The product is honestly excellent at what it does.
Carrd is good at: link-in-bio pages, personal landing pages, pre-launch "coming soon" pages, simple product landing pages, and any case where one well-designed page is enough. It loads fast, looks clean, and the editor is friendly.
Carrd is not good at: being a full website. One page means one page. No blog. No service pages. No GBP integration. No directories. No AI visibility layer. No change queue. It's a leaf, not a tree.
